Kyle Hughes, DPT

Kyle grew up in the Hockessin, DE area and attended Salesianum High School. During his time there, he ran cross country and played tennis, further developing his passion for sports and the outdoors. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Widener University in 2017.
Kyle’s passion lies in manual therapy and working with athletes, particularly runners. His clinical experience has ranged from working with adolescent athletes all the way to the professional level, including working for the Cleveland Indians major league baseball team. In addition, he worked with amputees, stroke patients, and post-surgical cases during his clinical rotation at Renaissance Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia. He is always looking for new opportunities to expand his experience for the benefit of his patients.
In his free time, Kyle enjoys running both on roads and trails, hiking, playing tennis and coaching high school cross country. He has completed several marathons and ultramarathons, and hopes to share the knowledge he has gained from his own running experience with his patients.
