Kristen grew up in Wilmington, DE, participating in multiple sports including field hockey, swimming, and lacrosse. Her passion for physical therapy began in high school where she spent months in physical therapy after ACL reconstruction on both of her knees.
Kristen attended the University of Delaware, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology in 2011. While an undergraduate student, Kristen played club lacrosse and worked as an assistant in the ACL research lab, collecting data for studies on ACL injury, rehabilitation, and prevention. She continued her education at University of Delaware, graduating with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013.
Kristen is now an avid runner who enjoys distances from 5k to marathons. She enjoys treating runners of all levels, using her knowledge and running experience to help them achieve their goal of completing their first race or setting a new PR. Since starting with Elite PT, Kristen has become certified in Functional Dry Needling and is thrilled to work in an environment with a focus on manual therapy skills and working as a team with skilled colleagues to help all patients return to their desired level of function.
