David grew up in northern NJ playing football and baseball, where he became acquainted with physical therapy through a slew of injuries including stress fractures and multiple concussions. He attended The College of New Jersey, earning a Bachelor's with Honors in Health and Exercise Science in 2016. The course work there had a heavy emphasis on strength training, an interest which David further pursued by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. While in college, David also suffered multiple foot fractures and underwent foot surgery, thereby developing a keen interest in helping people recover from foot and ankle injuries.
David then went on to earn his Masters in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware. He completed clinical rotations at Wellspan Hospital in York, PA, Evolution Physiotherapy in White Marsh, MD and ProSports PT in Scarsdale, NY. While at Evolution, David honed his manual therapy skills and gained experience treating an array of college athletes, crossfitters, competitive weightlifters and professional strongmen. After graduation, David went on to become a certified Functional Range Conditioning provider which taught him to employ specific training techniques to maximize mobility, joint health and body control.
When he's not working, you can find David on the mats training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, in the gym lifting weights, or back home hiking or running the trails in North Jersey in his minimalist shoes.
