Erin Igo, DPT

Erin is a native of Dover, DE, whose interest and passion for Physical Therapy originated with her passion for athletics. Erin played soccer with many traveling soccer programs including Central Delaware Soccer Association, Kirkwood Soccer Club, Delaware Saegerbund, the Olympic Development Program (ODP) and Dover High School’s varsity soccer team. Her soccer career spanned 14 years and her parents cheered for her the entire way.

Erin attended the University of Delaware, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, in 2009. She then went on to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware, in 2011. As part of UD’s Physical Therapy program, Erin had several clinical experiences, which provided her with valuable learning opportunities. She has experience working with a variety of patient populations, ranging from athletes to geriatrics. Erin’s passion lies within her dedication to her orthopedic and sports patients. She is a certified clinical instructor and has supervised physical therapy students over the past few years as they prepare to become licensed physical therapists.

As a member of the Elite team, Erin has enjoyed the opportunity to improve her manual and patient management skills, become certified in Functional Dry Needling and work along side the skilled clinicians of Elite PT.
