Chris grew up outside of Harrisburg, PA where he played soccer and ran track and cross-country throughout his high school days. Chris attended Towson University as part of the Honors College and received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science as well as a minor in Spanish. At Towson, he continued playing soccer on the men’s club team and continued to run long distance races, winning Towson’s Lead Strong Half Marathon in 2012 and 2013. Chris developed a strong interest in the strength and conditioning field due to his background in sports and various internships throughout his undergraduate studies. This led him to obtain his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialty through the National Strength and Conditioning Association shortly after graduation.
In 2014 to 2016, Chris attended the University of Delaware where he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy as well as his Masters in Anatomical Sciences. His clinical experiences included working on the traumatic brain injury unit at WellSpan Rehabilitation Hospital in York, PA and working in the acute care setting at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, PA. Chris gained a strong appreciation for manual therapy during his outpatient rotation at Evolution Sports Physiotherapy in Baltimore, MD where he was able to use his background in strength and conditioning to assist in the rehabilitation of high school and collegiate athletes as well as CrossFit athletes and weekend warriors.
Chris is very excited to move back to Delaware and be a part of the Elite PT team where he hopes to apply knowledge from his strength and conditioning background and clinical experiences to help patients recover from injury.
